The ASEAN Culture House—having opened in Busan in September—introduces the members of ASEAN through exhibitions in the Permanent Exhibition Gallery, Special Exhibition Gallery, and VR Room. In the second-floor Permanent Exhibition Gallery, the ASEAN Ways of Life: Its Diversity and Unity exhibition is underway, offering a glimpse into the history and culture of the 10 ASEAN members through folk crafts, modern handmade arts, and textiles. In the first-floor Special Exhibition Gallery, the exhibition Celebrating the Beauty of Marriage: ASEAN Seen through Wedding Traditions and Cultures is currently on show. The VR Room, which has proven a hit with the public, enables visitors to experience Angkor Wat, the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Cambodia; Indonesia’s Borobudur Temple; and the archaeological remains of Myanmar’s Bagan.
