The KF, the Free University of Brussels (Vrije Universiteit Brussel, VUB), and Yonsei University in Seoul will jointly hold the third Korea-EU Forum in the VUB Conference Room on October 17–18.
  Resuming after a three-year hiatus, the forum on October 18 will deal with such topics as “Korea-EU Strategic Partnership and Political Situations on the Korean Peninsula,” “The Future of Global Economic Governance: The Perspectives of Korea and the EU,” and “Korea-EU Cooperation in Education, Science, and Technology.”
  On October 17, the KF-VUB Korea Chair will be jointly inaugurated by the KF and VUB as the first such position in Europe. The Korea Chair is expected to encourage European interest in Korea, expand exchange between the two sides, and contribute to developing friendly ties.
