Participation at the Havana International Jazz Festival

In an effort to broaden awareness of Korea’s modern culture in Cuba, the KF is sponsoring performances at the 32nd Havana International Jazz Festival (December 15–18, 2016) by the ethnic pop group “RA:AK,” whose musical works adopt motifs from Korea’s traditional literature. It is hoped that, like the gala performance of Shim Chung by the Universal Ballet at the Havana International Ballet Festival in early November, the upcoming performances will strengthen the close friendship between Korea and Cuba.
