‘ASEAN Street Food: Hororok Chopchop Omulomul’ Exhibition
From December 15 through April 11, the KF-operated ASEAN Culture House (ACH) will hold a special exhibition, titled ASEAN Street Food: Hororok Chopchop Omulomul, introducing a variety of street food from Southeast Asian countries. The exhibition will also present contemporary artworks that reinterpret socio-cultural aspects of ASEAN street food through audiovisual elements.
Especially noteworthy are new works by such artists as Minja Gu, winner of the Korea Artist Prize sponsored by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, and Rho Jae Oon, winner of the Hermès Foundation Missulsang, who are active at home and abroad.
Visitors will feel as if they were strolling along the alleys of ASEAN countries as they walk around the exhibition hall filled with sounds and installations. This winter, everyone is invited to experience ASEAN countries’ warmth and pleasure at the ACH in Busan.
